Because the Yoga Clothing takes them to so many Yoga events, Ali and Ken have got to know some wonderful teachers over the years. For most of the last decade they have inited a stream of inspiring Yogis to give days for general students in Horncastle.
The studio is set in the beautiful area of the south Lincolnshire Wolds just outside the town of Horncastle and if you choose to take one of the weekend courses, overnight stays can be arranged for you in one of the local hotels or B&B's just a few minutes drive away. More information is available at the bottom of this page.
"CHILL OUT DAY 2008 REVIEW"

Despite some uncertain weather several people told us that was the best day yet and we have been able to send the Helping Minds Trust in Coimbatore £735.00 for their orphanage school.
Wonderful morning sessions - about 80 people spread fairly equally between Yoga, Chi Gung and Meditation. Tutors all worked hard to give inspiring practices and the afternoon workshops also went down very well culminating in a triumphant "Junk Drumming" session on the clock golf lawn.
I did not manage to find a slot in whcih to pay tribune to Dad who made the whole thing possible with his creation of magical garden ambience. He died in August 2007 but I am sure he was with us in spirit on July 19th. Also to thank my brother Robert and his wife Becky who are taking on the house and have kindly encouraged us to carry on this tradition.
AUTUMN EVENTS 2008
Three sessions of working a little deeper with Chakra energies. Taking place on Sunday afternoons 2pm - 5pm £10.00 each to include tea and cakes with a discussion afterwards.
Sept 28 - "SALUTE TO THE SUN AS MEDITATION" - My favourite standing practice for increasing the energy in all the systems of the body. Working with visualising energy moving around the body in synchronisation with all the postures.
Oct 26 - "MANIPURA EXPOSED" - Focussing on this space where we build up our individual power - our "Sun Centre"
Nov 23rd - "MANIPURA DISTILLED" - As we work more strongly with Manipura and our personal drive and purpose we see where it might go next as it turns "inside out" into Anahata!
SPRING EVENTS 2009
Jan 31/Feb 1st - GARY CARTER INTENSIVE WEEKEND. £70.00 per day - We ran our first weekend with Gary Carter in May 2008 and he was immediately press-ganged to return - in fact not allowed to leave until he had filled the dates in his diary.

The background to his work that he has divulged so far includes Martial Arts, graphic design, structural design of cars and a hint of time spent in a in a Himalayan cave. His great knowledge and an enquiring mind leads him to examine the structure of Yoga postures and their impact on the human systems in fresh and meaningful ways
March 7th(or 8th) - To be confirmed - Fundraising morning. With Louise Hebblewhite. Banovalum School.
May 9th - MAUREEN MCCARTHY "CORE STABILITY". Banovallum School.
Maureen trained with the Yoga Bio Medical trust and is giving us a day looking at how building strength into our centre can help low back pain, gynaecological and prostrate problems.

I attended a workshop with Maureen in Durham and was impressed by her knowledge and ability of prananyama using mudras and bandhas so am looking forward to working with her in a more personal way. The day is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
